Mideastern Bear hunting in Russia
Mideastern Brown Bear (Ursus arctos syriacus) is a rare trophy. It is smaller Brown Bear than the Eurasian Brown Bear. Color varies from pale straw to dull garish-brown. They are successfully hunted in the Caucasian region of Russia. It is one of the most scenic countries in the world.
| How to get there |
You arrive to the International Moscow airport. Our crew meets you and assists through the customs. We do everything possible to expedite the customs procedure. Then we take you to the hotel for overnight. Next morning you fly to Mineralnyye Vody. |
| Hunting season |
Hunts take place from April 20 to May 15 and from September 1 to October 15 with the best time in spring. |
| Hunting |
You are hunting in mountainous terrain. Spring is the most successful hunting period. Bears are hunted via baiting and stalking. They are feeding on lush new grass at this time, and can be easily spotted. Expect some horseback riding, as well as plenty of walking. Hunters can expect to walk to good observation point, glass for several hours, and then move to another area until you find your trophy. |

The camps are hunting houses or just hotels. Hunting houses are warm, clean and comfortable. You will find good food and quality service. |

During daylight hours the temperature in April/May is 45–50 F /+15-20 C and during nighttime 32-40 F/ 0 +10 C. |

Flight to Mineralnyye Vody in the morning, 1 hour 40 minutes. Transfer to Karachaevk and stay overnight. |

Visa registration, transfer to camp |
