Marco Polo Argali hunting in Kyrgyzstan

OTHER Language PDF - French, German

Kyrgyzstan is a famous destination for big game hunters seeking for the fabulous Marco Polo Argali and Mid-Asian Ibex. The typical Marco Polo Argali trophy runs between 49-50 inches with occasional 60 inches trophy taken. Also Mid-Asian Ibex can be harvested as additional trophy; is the largest Ibex in the world with the horn length up to 60 inches.

Altitudes in Kyrgyzstan are the lowest where Marco Polo Argali is available. It is unforgettable adventure to hunt at 12000 feet on a horseback, being surrounded by a beautiful alpine panorama. We make your hunt safe and successful.

How to get there Fly directly to Bishkek from Istanbul or London. There is no problem with transit of hunting rifles via Turkey. Upon your wish, our partners in Turkey organize Bezoar Ibex and wild boar hunt, or sightseeing program in Istanbul for you. We meet you at the airport of arrival and assist through the customs.
Hunting season The season is from September 1 to December 1, February 1 to March 30 with the best time from October 15 to November 15.
Hunting Most Kyrgyzstan hunting trips are based from horse back due to the immense amount of country to be covered to hunt the animals successfully. Expect extensive horseback riding and considerable walking. Ride before you go on this hunt. Spike camp is set up with the specific goal of hunting a particular animal or area. Sheep are generally located in remote country at 12000 feet / 4000 m. Once the trophy is located you complete your stalk on foot. Physical condition is an important factor for stalking. Long range shooting, up to 500 yards/m is normal.
Base Camps Camps are located at 11,000 feet. These are traditional Asian yurts or wooden structures. They are warm, clean and comfortable with separate areas for dining, bathing and sleeping and have electrical generation. Our cook prepares local, European, and Korean meals. Every camp is equipped with a satellite-phone or radio station, and first-aid-kit.
Weather As usual, weather is favorable and more or less predictable in this region during the hunting period. During daylight hours in October it is from 45 to 57 F / 5-15 C and at night 14 to 23 F / -5-10 C. In November the temperature falls down to 5-14 F/ -10-15 C and during nighttime to - 4 to + 5 F / -15 –20 degrees. Windy conditions.
